What is the difference?

Both QR codes and AR (Augmented Reality) help deliver content to consumers' devices. But QR codes can only direct a consumer's device to a destination; a website, mobile site or another application. Only AR can deliver a truly interactive experience to a consumer right at the point they view your printed material with their phone. It doesn't take the consumer to an Internet destination they could quite easily have visited themselves.
